as far as i remember it was infrogrames who bought them out in the late 90's and then infrogrames got swallowed up by atari
Not sure on the first part but the second part is dead wrong. Atari did not buy up infrogrames. Try infrogrames bought the atari name and rebranded it self (i think the core parent company is still called infrogrames in france).
Mods feel free to remove this thread if its getting too hot. So someone selling d(e)v tools from Accolade could be either a former accolade worker or someone intern at infogrames/atari?
Accolade, the creator of the longest running driving series, Test Drive, has been acquired by Infogrames following Test Drive 5 , if I recall. Infogrames restructured their company and renamed themselves to Atari in order to appeal to the wide audience that knew the name Atari. What I d like to know is what happened to Pitbull Syndicate.
didnt pitbull carry on with some of the later test drive games on the xbox? im sure i remeber the logo when starting up one of the games, will look into it though
The Atari name turns me away more than anything else. Thing Atari think shite games. Sorry but that's what I think  Yakumo
Same with you Mark, I miss the armadillo logo of Infogrames - I actually thought they were synonymous with quality and indipendence when it came to their games.
