What platform would be best/easiest/affordable to play Ace Attorney (USA versions)? Between DS, Wii, Windows, or iOS. I'm interested opinions on if portable is better than full screen (or vice versa), if some ports have additional content, etc
Talking about the first trilogy released for DS, I prefer them to the newer "HD" re-releases, since the newer look like they applied a Photoshop filter over the original drawings (without reviewing the result). DS Lite would be my favourite platform and then 3DS without scaling. Now they sell the first trilogy in Nintendo's eshop but with the "HD" graphics filter. I got the original games for DS in Europe (second hand, complete) and they were not specially cheap but affordable. Now I'm playing Dual Destinies for 3DS. But I can't tell about releases of the newest games for other platforms.
I'm interested mostly in the original trilogy, so it seems like DS is the best choice. Wish I knew Japanese, I could pick it up for cheap. I remember when Japanese imports were more expensive. Ideally, I want to use a DS at times, and a DS emulator on Android at other times. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to transfer save games back and forth. Thanks for the insight. Just heard of this series recently and it really captured my imagination.
