That hits the nail on the head pretty much.

I myself have a short attention span. But it depends on what I'm doing.

Well, unless this is a joke, no. I think the Alaskan student asked the Principal if we could have an Ice Hockey ring built, too. lol

He said "This MUST be a joke"

I think we have a Soccer, Softball, Basketball, and Football team here. Maybe Golf, too.

Dude, we have Football, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Cross Country, Track and Field, and Golf... There is going to be a soccer program next year, but it might not last too long (I hope it doesn't). We'll see.

I don't know, I'm a little surprised we didn't get a Soccer program sooner, with the amount of Hispanics that live in the area.

I'm not even kidding, in the last 15 years or so, our town has turned into Little Mexico, not that thats a bad thing.

Well, since I'm working at the school now and one of the coaches is on the crew with me, I get to talk with him a lot about what's going on. The coach I work with is actually going to be the head coach for the soccer program. He said that a lot of the Mexicans won't even be eligible because of grades, and speculates the ones that are eligible will quit because of all the running and off season work he's going to put them (the soccer team) through. He told me that he's going to require everyone on the soccer team to be in cross country during the off season.

Here's what I think, a lot of people will sign up for the soccer program because they think they are gonna get a ring out of it (and not because they like soccer). However once the real work starts, they will quit and the program will fall apart. At least that's what I think. Who knows, it might just work out. If it does, then at least it will strengthen the cross country team. I think that's about the only good thing that will come from having the soccer program though.

You know, I wonder how popular soccer really is in the states since that assclown beckham got a $250M contract with some team from california.

Seriously, how many people are actually into it? cuz everytime I dare to watch a match most of the stadium is empty...

Shadowlayer, Soccer has always been there, maybe not to the same level as American Football, but it has always been there.
