Yeah, i'd like to use hex posts, but they stick out too far as the Dreamcasts case is adding to what is expected. I've thought about bevelling the plastic a bit but that would weaken the fixing of the port. But its something that bugs me a bit.

    Looks awesome!

Does the harddrive emulate the drive perfectly?
Cause when I'm using the Dreamshell adapter, with sd I have dropping framerates etc, but I assume that's different with the harddrive?

I have lived in Hillerød aswell, when I was on højskole :D

The thickness of the case shouldn't be too much of an issue.

The plug won't go in the whole way, but it should still plug in solidly, and make contact.

Its not perfect, but much better than with SD. Only a few games have noticeable lag, most work the same as GD. Loading times are even faster. I think Dreamshell needs a little more work before it can be considered a complete replacement for the GD drive. But its certainly alot cheaper than other GD replacement solutions. As for compatibility, from my own tests it runs about 60 % of GDI images pretty much perfectly. It seems to work better with GDI images.

I'm an English guy living in Denmark. Been here 12 years. 8 of those in Hillerød :)

Ah thanks for the info. It wouldn't be too hard to try it. I'll give it a crack.

Looks good brother. I'm in the process of getting my Mod Box up and running. I just got a clear purple shell for it. Purple LED on the way. GDEMU on the way. SD card to Serial PCB on the way for ripping GDIs and PicoPSU on the way. I am waiting for a solution to the BBA as i'm not shelling out 350 just to get online with the console.
