    Hey all,

I'm hoping it's cool to ask this. I have received a dev 360 HD with some really nice content on it (stuff I won't mention the name of and sure as hell won't leak) and I can't quite remember the steps I need to take to find the right folder/file via my FTP program and extract or add XBLA or full dev builds to the HD (either via Neighborhood or plain FTP).

Would any of you lot me nice enough to talk me through the easy ways of adding or taking new content off my dev HD so I can add it back on at a later date if need be?

Any and all help on this would be appreciated!

If the material in question is a dev build of a game, it should usually just be on the DEVKIT: partition of the hard drive in neighborhood.

If it's an XBLA title, it will be in an XContent package, which will be involved. You'll have to go into the retail hard drive emulation partition, then a folder name which is zeroed out, and then the folder which is the game's titleid. In there you'll find a package with the game, and you'll have to use a tool to extract the files.

Connect your kit to your LAN>Open up Neighborhood>Add Kit>Type in either dev kit name or IP>Kit should appear in the program, venture in to the Content (partition? folder, whatever it is)>0000000000>Title ID of Game>000D0000>grab package.

Anything else (non-packaged files) would be located in the DEVKIT:\ partition in a folder that most likely corresponds with the game name. You can view the path (x:\***) in the devkit launcher.

Slap it on, Open Neighborhood, Goto your kit, Open up the Retail HDD, done
