Address Checker Dreamcast: Rarity?

They are basically a DC with a custom PCB - half of which lies outside the case with a bunch of buttons and LEDs. As a UK model, it only plays normal PAL games (despite being a Japanese case etc).

I used to have a pic of a US one from someone on the old, old boards (who described it as a "debug Dreamcast") but I think that went with a HDD crash.

So how much are these worth, fully boxed? Anybody got any idea how many are floating about? Less of more common than an Address Checker Saturn?

    Thanks :)

Some Dori Checkers Dreamcasts were sold on Yahoo for 1.000 Yen last year.
Unfortunately i missed the chance to buy one.

Yes, they are rare and i'm sure you'll get much more on Ebay. Do you have one of the "refurbished" box units ?

    I don't know.

In the box packaged up like a standard Japanese Dreamcast, but has a label on the front saying "Address Checker" and some Japanese text. It comes in a standard Dreamcast Japanese case with a hole in the side, but has a PAL bios. The LEDs light up now and then. The person I bought it off claimed they were an ex-Sega of Europe employee.

That's pretty much all I know about the item. I'm not sure if I want to sell, either, but it'd be nice to know more about the item if nothing else.
