Well, maybe to us gaming old timers! I'm thinking of getting one (for display purposes of course!) Pac-Man Hat http://mgrsti3030s.seamlesstech.biz...asp?CatalogID=9607&SearchYN=N&subFolderID=179
Heh, so true! But I do particularly like Ncsx's description of the hat: When worn, Pac-Man appears to be chewing your face with extreme glee.
NCS? They used to be so sweet in early 90s, the best east coast store! They lost their flavor over the years. Sometimes they ship Asian games instead of Japanese :\
I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that as a normal hat. A motorcycle helmet version would be cool as hell though.
oh well, i already used a cowboy hat, i sometimes wear strange clothes (chineses and japaneses things...) and all, somes think i'm cool, others are thinking i'm crazy, but i just don't care. I'm going to do a piece of theatre with nothing more than boxers on me in the next month, everyone think i won't be able to, but i will... i just don't care what people says, if they like it, cool if they don't that's not my problem, i'm no rebel or anything, i just want to put some smiles and to have a look (you're sure i'm the only one at my school with chineses and japaneses clothes!) different from the others too, but i won't do it to flash or to prove something, if i don't like it, i won't wear it (asiatic clothes are class!) . That hat seems to be in the extreme, but i guess one day it could bring some good laughs.
I'm from the same school of beliefs as you cahaz I once wore my dressing gown to town just because I felt like it However, Yakumo is right for sure in the context of britain. I got promptly headbutted later in the day for it just because it wasnt "normal".
Hell, I'd take a headbutt over a punch any day. In fact, I'd take them at their own game - I have one heck of a thick cranium. I'd wear it to campus just to see the looks that it got. Being told almost daily how uncool you are (and sometimes with proper physical reinforcement of the idea) for about the entire 6 years of your upper primary school can sortof ingrain you with the truth that indeed, you shall never aspire to that lofty standard set by others, and eventually, you just start to roll with it and even start to develop a taste for clothing or hairstyles you'd never attempt if you were really one with the 'in crowd'.
I hope that never happens to me....I personally think I look pretty good walking around campus with my Tophat on, lol. And back on topic, I need to make $40 to get this hat, lol.
