When I sold my huge collection (the first one), about a decade ago, I asked the seller to come pick it up in person. Asked him to show me proof of ticket purchase and availability of funds before going through with the transaction.

sell the rare stuff separately with a lot of advertising on many forums
then make bulk lots with the random crappy games

Damn it all, I wish I had money to make this waaay easier for you.

You have most certainly come to the right place to get that sold. I'd say Shou's method is the most reasonable one. Don't move, don't send, don't accept anything without proof.

How did Ling Jr. sell his huge collection all those years ago? That case would be a great example.

Ling Jr. as in the seller on eBay? He's still selling it I think at those outrageous prices.

For a transaction such as this I would recommend going with an escrow service.

I had heard he'd sold the whole lot, but I wasn't aware of how.

If he still is, though, he's still a great example case... of what NOT to do, I guess.

    Awesome collection, that one.

That is if you can't meet the buyer in person, better safe than sorry.
