Advice/WTB: Samba de Amigo

Need to pick this up at some point to write something about it. What's the going rate? Not too fussed if it's boxed or not, what region etc, but I do want the authentic Sega maracas; I seem to remember hearing bad things about the third-party ones back in the day. Ebay seems to be all over the shot, from £40 to £130. Frankly £40 seems a bit steep for it these days, especially given that sans maracas the game goes for a few quid.

 

US or JPN then yeah, a few quids about right, but the PAL version is still expensive with or without maracas. The "Cha Cha Amigo" maracas are pretty cheap, but I don't like them compared to the real version, they just don't feel right, but you can't fault the price compared to the real ones.

 

Go with the real ones.. and yea, this is a great game. I bought my maracas for around $75 about two years ago, don't know how much the prices have changed.. oh, and get Samba de Amigo 2K, much more songs...

 

And in Samba De Amigo 2000 you have the "wave" bit added which is a lot of fun!

i would disagree. The item (controller and game in that big box) retailed (here in Germany) for about 100 EUR (~65UKP) , did not sell huge quantities, and is very sought after.

I would snatch one for 40 quid, if i hadnt already got one

PAL Samba de Amigo stuff is indeed much more expensive than the other regions, it is very hard to come by.
