Hey all. I have a PS2 with a HDD that I wish to transfer some of my legally owned games to. However, I do not have an IDE adaptor that I can use on my PC. Because of this I want to transfer to it either over USB or over FTP. Is there any way that I can do this? Thanks a lot!

Forget USB. Another option tha HDLGameInstaller is hdl_dumx mod by AkuHak (faster transfer). http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/new...mpt-gain-full-access-hdd-over-network-113411/
Well that is slightly different, if you want to use the HDL menu then you can use this http://opl.sksapps.com/index.php?opl=hdlsvr.html I have a feeling that OPL has something built in, but I never used that as I switched to a slim ps2 with the ISO's stored on a network share & stream them.
there is no way to transfer a game from usb to the internal hdd. (wish there was one) you can only copy the from cd/dvd or via network. btw you can take the internal hdd, connecti it to your pc via an external closure and load games to it but you can't copy an .iso from a pendrive to internal hdd via ps2 itself.
Thanks for the advice all. I'm trying to install games with hdl_dumb-0.8.3 but at a random interval through the transfer it freezes. Is this a known issue I can fix? Edit: It may be because I was on Wi-Fi. I tried again on a wired PC and it worked fine.
Again, if you want something faster, get this http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/new...mpt-gain-full-access-hdd-over-network-113411/
