Age of consent in Japan

    No way the money is in Japan then.

    They rat hole. I'm sure the average Japanese person has far more in a close to zero-interest account or cash under their bed than they do in some type of yield-bearing instrument.

    Given some of the turmoil the banking industry has had recently maybe they've got the right idea?

    Research shows that Japan as a nation saves 34% of it's GDP. A massive 24% of monthly income goes in the pot. All that money not getting interest is just insane.

    I'd bet 10 to the dozen that 99% of those saving are down to the wives..... :lol:

    The wives traditionally handle all of the money (spending, and saving). For the most part, the "investing is not saving" attitude applies. It is a gamble.

    Your money is always better used when "put to work". Even this last bump has pretty much flattened out. My position is actually higher than it was before the fist-fucking last month.
