Can anyone suggest a solution to a loading problem or confirm it's happened to them? I've just opened a brand new (sealed) copy of Air Force Delta (NTSC J) and it won't load...when trying to load it thinks about it - screen goes white and then returns to the screen showing the four icons for loading, VMU ,music etc.... I've tried it on two different NTSC-J machines and same problem....(the game is also for NTSC-J) I looked on google and found this (someone posted it years ago): "You could very well have a faulty disc there. If other games are loading without issue and there doesn't seem to be any damage to the reading surface, that would be the most likely explanation, especially considering the fact that Air Force Delta was one of the early titles (there were a lot of defective GD-Roms early on, which actually caused a lot of people to return their Dreamcast thinking it was a hardware problem)." Is it simply a duff disk?....does it happen alot? Thanks
It sounds like a duff disc. I own that game too but mine woirks fine. I'm not sure that there was a GDROM problem. I'Ve NEVER had any problems with any Japanese GDROM Only PAL GDROMs. The ones that give my problems are Evil Twin and Shenmue II. Sometimes they will just not load. Yakumo
My Ntsc(J) Air Force Delta works about 1 in 30 times on my pal DC with DC-X, the disc looks fine. I had read it is one of very few games that has this problem, i didn't know this when I bought it :angry
Yakumo/Baseley09 - many thanks! Baseley09 - I took your advice and it worked after the 10th attempt!....brilliant...you're a genius (in my book atleast) Many many thanks guys!.... :smt023
