I'm looking at a complete set of Samurai Showdown MVS carts on Ebay from Akiba games but they only show the outside (I've asked to see inside to confirm they are genuine). Does anyone have any history or knowledge of Akiba games and if they sometimes carry the Chinese knockoffs? I can't get a response from them on Ebay when I asked a question. I'd like to get a sense of their usual MVS sales before purchasing what could be knockoffs.
Old post, but... It's not very likely if they're based in Japan. That said, I just don't see many pirates making SamSho bootlegs (they weren't top earners back in the day), and you can always file an ebay claim if they turn out to be bootlegs and ask for a refund.
Thanks, I did buy the set since it was a good deal and when they came in I checked the boards at MVSscans. Yep, they are all genuine.
