Akihabara Flash Map (please check it out)

Kind of a beta test of sorts. Hoping someone that's relatively familiar with Akiba can take a look and critique me, but also people NOT AT ALL familiar with Akihabara to give me an outside view.

The layout is about as efficient as I could come up with, although I will be adding some pictures later. For now though, it works. I'll work on making it prettier later.

Some things to note:

-There's a few linkless buttons. (All Liberty shops and Messe Sanno. Liberty sucks anyway)
-I've not been to all the shops listed. Got some opinions? Hook me up.
-I'm sure there's a few places of intersest I've missed. Again - lemme know and I'll add them.

Don't be like those assholes that tested the Yahoo Japan assistant. That thing got 50 hits a day and only one person gave me feeback. If you were one of those assholes, redeem yourself now.

Would be nice to have scrolling on the sides - e.g. an arrow on each side to click to move up, down left and right. Not really sure about the content as ive never been.

 

Where are the other Traders and Liberty?

 

I thought about that but I thought it might be overkill, and could confuse people...that and I'd have to make four arrows, and I was kinda constrained on space.

EDIT: There's only one other trader, and it doesn't have games, just DVDs and CDs. Most liberty shops are there, I just didn't write their descriptions yet.

Then there's four, b/c Trader 3 is indeed in Akihabara, and AFAIK, is DVD/CD only. It's on the other side of Chuo-doori from Trader 1, but a bit closer to the station.

 

Oh yea, you could list Games Ark (I think that's what it's called) the shop with wrestling games and 3rd party hardware

 

Yeah, I wrote the description, but didn't put it in yet. It's on the 3rd or 4th floor near Messe Sanno, right? It's got some weird stuff, but mainly crap you'd buy in the US (if memory calls). Probably worth adding though.

 

I don't remember, I didn't find it myself, got the tip from the Liberty staff IIRC. They had Micomsoft stuff like XRGB-2 and apparently sold some naughty GBA stuff in the past according to a friend.

 

Yeah, that sounds like the place I went to.

Considering many streets don't even have names, that will be quite hard - impossible perhaps - to pull off. ;p

I'm not even sure of what exactly, it's the blue sign with yellow letters that says "PCB Shop" I think. I'll mail it to you when I'm back at my parents' place, which should be tomorrow.
