Just posted a few minutes ago Dead or Alive 5 2012 Gameplay video, check it and hear some familiar sounds .

Ok I expected Virtua Fighter VS Tekken we Get Street Fighter X Tekken (released unfinished with Console bias) and now...DOA VS Virtua Fighter?

Lest we forget the first two DOA games were built for Sega Hardware.

 

Now this is what I call a proper "cameo" unlike stupid shit that had nothing to do with fighting games. Yeah, Namco, I'm looking at you with your Assassins Creed character. Tecmo have got this right and may I say that Dead or Alive 5 looks stunning!

Totally agree with you there Yakumo, even though it's a bit of a crazy mix it still works for me. With guest characters I wish Samus was in DOA

Ezio at least looked like a Soul Calibur Character UNLIKE Vader and Yoda.

 

Vader and Yoda were a bloody stupid additions. Great characters in their own right but in Soul Calibur????? I never played that version of the game so I have no idea how they worked them in to the plot of the game or wasn't there one?

It made no sense at all plot wise

 

Everyone always forgets the number 1 reason why Yoda being in Soul Calibur sucked: it reminded us of that idiotic scene in Episode II where he fought with a lightsaber, and that's something that should be erased from humanity's collective memories.

People take the plot of Soul Calibur seriously? "Oh hay, Raphael's a vampire now. BLAH!"

SO according to Soul Calibur, Assassin's Creed, Star Wars, Zelda, Spawn, God of War and Tekken all take place int he same Universe.

Actually, I remember Link's profile in SCII saying he somehow travelled from his own universe to the SC universe.
