Ok so im over 10 years late on this :smt042 Well I just got my copy and now I wish I would have left it in its case :angry
After days of just leveling up my crew ( this is something I do with all my rpg's) :smt042 Anyways im at a stage in the game where I go into a chief beastmans hut and talk to him and when I exit the hut I am to see an odd looking beastman and follow him. Well the problem is the beastman is not outside the door :angry I only know this because I looked at 2 walkthroughs as a last resort.
It seems that on the first visit to the hut the beastman is outside the door of the hut , but at that point I had no idea that I had to follow him :smt022 and it seems like a one time shot because he is no where to be found now and yes I know I should have saved my game before going in to the beastman village :smt022
Well now my only choice is to start the game over :angry Anyone ever play this game and have some idea of what the hell im talking about??

Im at the final tower on that game, so I could probably help you out. That part is hazy, but I remember how long it took me just to figure out to talk to the chief! You see, I thought I already talked to everyone. Doh!
That guy you follow is very easy to kill BTW.

Try Working Designs website, they might have some hints in their tips section.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I checked the WD site and they do have a hint but only for the last tower with maps as well. I guess I will have to call them. Its just frustrating for something so simple to bring my game to a grinding halt. :smt1062

Here is the sequence im refering to -

When you exit the house of the village chief, you see a strange-looking
Beastman wandering around and you decide to tail him. You see the odd
Beastman find a quiet corner of town and change into one of Radoria's
baddies. Looks like Radoria is trying to get the two normally-peaceful
towns to fight each other. What to do?

You tail him to Weran and see him turn into a Birdman. As you walk up to
him, the Necromancer tells you that you'll pay for being so nosey, and
you are swept into a fight:

Did you fight him yet??? The hardest part is finding him.

    Ok, here we go.

talk to the chief in the Northern town
    leave
    see weird guy
follow him to the eastern part of the Northern town, but stay above the weapon shop.
Follow again when he runs off and kill him after he turns into a birdie man.

Now, I think the bird chief is that flashy birds dad, (I think).

Just make sure you talk to everyone. That should work, especially since its an RPG.

I just started playing this game today. It's fun and all, but there are way to many random battles.

They take some time to load as well. You get over it after a while with this game. The whole thing is awesome. I wish the first two Albert Odysseys for the Super Famicom were translated...without problems. :smt009

I think you need to talk to everyone in that house or something. I remember being lost there, befrore, too, and by some fluke I met the guy. It is a little hazy, though. I dont think your cd has a problem, just do something like....talk to the chief over and over(?) Some RPGs are like this and give you little clues and all you need to do is talk to everyone. One of them tells you that they saw weird figures behind the weapon shop, and that *might* trigger the event.
