I'll start things off with my Xbox DVT4. I am fairly certain that this Xbox was a dumpster special. When it arrived to me it had all sorts of dirt, food residue, and egg shells out the outside and inside the console. I took a few days to disassemble it and clean everything with rubbing alcohol / hydrogen peroxide and it is running good as new. It bears an Activision ID sticker on the bottom, so i would image that Activision most likely emptied these out because they were no longer developing games on them. Unfortunately i don't have any pics of it before i cleaned it up. But you could say it had about a 20% brown tint to it and didn't smell very nice. Now it looks perfect (and doesn't smell). After quite a bit of searching i was able to pick one of these up complete in box. Now i have a fully functioning Xbox development setup! Limited to five pics per post, more pics on the next one!
It sure does look new! I love the way it can't really discolour. Fantastic work! Makes me want one too... Very sleek... Err maybe sleek isn't the right work for an Xbox... :topsy_turvy:
The Dev Kit looks very nice to me. You cleaned it up well! Also, if you got that DVD Emulator Kit recently I am pretty sure I know where it came from because I got the rest of the sellers Xbox Dev stuff that was sold later. lol
