    Do you know what type/size of power supply the HDD enclosure needs and i take it must be for IDE drives or is it SATA??

    Thanks for that. i have another HDD enclosure which has a simmilar looking psu plug and i though i may be able to try it and if it works get a replacement plug but on closer inspection its just not the right kind with nit enough holes in the plug.
