Hey that wasn't me...that pushed the guide button when that douche was playing...

at least I'm PRETTY sure it wasn't me.

Last year, at a massive Tekken tournament someone hit the PSHome button during the finals lol.

But my point was, blur420 should have taken the cable lol

    That's 2040!

Also, this is the first time I realize that it's really easy to transpose the numbers into "420."

That's what you get when you pick a handle at the age of 11 or so.

I too have a battery that won't hold a charge but it works for a few hours but if left off it dies the other one works fine, I've been meaning to replace it.

    That wasn't my situation exactly...

Mine was that the AA battery pack was constantly loose...and the slightest rattle might randomly cause it to shut off.

The problem has been temporarily remedied by adding a little slit of paper between the controller and the pack to make sure things stay put. I haven't had one shut off since we did that.

I've since talked to Microsoft support and they said that just because this took a million billion years (holy shit, getting a manager to call back at the right time was impossible), they're going to send me an extra controller...and I still have NEW battery packs coming my way. (Note: I never really wanted an "extra" anything for my trouble in the first place, all I wanted was MY controllers to work fast, but at least this will be useful.)

They said that theres NO WAY that there will be any problem with the new packs or controller, but to call them if there are. HA. I'll believe it when I see it.

Edit: Note. I am appreciative of the fact that they're actually attempting to help me with this, rather than telling me to fuck off. Still, their phone system is hell.

Every time someone calls, it appears that they have to read through the notes and then talk briefly about what the situation is. Meaning...they probably add a few more notes. Meaning every time you have to call them back, they add notes and they read notes and the time of reading takes a bit longer each time and it becomes harder for them to figure it out.

Ha, yeah. they first repeat what you've said back to you to clarify. And then at the end, they summarise your call.

Reminds me of when our school implemented 'learning objectives' that we would establish at the beginning of the lesson and review at the end (in principle!)

Noting that many don't have this issue, I feel you may have been overly unfortunate. I haven't encountered anyone with loose battery packs (although I admit I myself have had issues with the slightly variable sizes of rechargeable batteries, which mean that some of the high power ones have a tendency to get stuck in my controller!).
