That's PCI, the pins are much smaller and the card is shorter than usual ISA cards. 5,000 yen equals what? $50?

The PCI version of that card sells for a lot of money. I pick up new ISA cards for about five hundred yen, but the PCI one sells rarely for less than Y6k. It's pretty obvious that the ISA one is useless, who among us still games on a system with an ISA slot? No one but freaks, that's who.

I guess this explains why I found "Sega Enterprises Ltd." in the list of PCI vendor ID's... that got me wondering.

    ............

well if anyones interested, and you prob wont be, I can dig out from a huge box old cards an original nVidia NV1(I think thats it name) 3D graphic's card, basicaly the one that is totaly useless and only runs about 2 games. My friend got one when they were brand new, paid like £300 for it or something, came complete with Panzer Dargoon and Virtua Fighter Remix, the odd thing is, the games will ONLY run with this graphics card....also has ports on the back of the card for sega saturn pads. It came bundled with a saturn-esq pad, but it was cheaply made.........I'll try and get it off him and get some scans of it if anyones interested.....

Just found it on the net.....it was thw NV1, and it used quads insted of triangles to render the graphics.....not too much on this but will try and get the card and put it in my old PC, the cards PCI

    Behold, this is AntiPasta speaking!

I got one of those Edge 3D cards free from a classmate :smt033
It has the Saturn ports on a daughterboard that hooks into the Edge 3D. I have no games though.

Think the games that came with the cards were...

    Panzer Dragoon
    Virtua Fighter Remix
    Nascar Racing

  19. I've got one of those lying around here somewhere (Legit, do you still want the thing??). It was a Diamond Edge 3D card, based on the nVidia NV1 chipset, and had a small daughterboard that attached to it with the Saturn ports. I couldn't really manage to get the thing working on my system - not that I expected it to. If anyone knows of any hacks or drivers to use the thing in Windows XP, let me know - running freeware shmups and MAME games with a Saturn controller would be awesome.
