This is the only exclusive PS3 title that interests me. And it looks like Drakengard with prettier graphics, imo. Some of the textures look shitty, however. That big 4 legged thing looked really bad.
It doesnt look THAT amazing.........more like a Panzer Dragoon ripoff made with the Doom3 engine... I'm gonna play it nonetheless, since is the only PS3 game I'm looking foward to (well theres others, but still have see those running)
Speaking of that, I may end up buying a PS3 before that an X360 since according to a recent study the failure rate is merely a 1%, kinda far from X360s nuts-crashing 30%... But I'll wait from a price cut first, and BTW, whats up with the $100 cut? is $499 again just like in launch, just that it packs a bigger HDD and the memcards reader. Big deal, I'll rather have the barebones model again for $399...
Is it just me or does that look like crap? It looks like the just textured little bits and pieces, the water doesn't look good, that second 4-horned monster was just sliding around in the background, and the lighting wasn't very good at all. Maybe it's just me. Hopefully it'll improve a lot before it's release. Judging from these two videos, this isn't a killer app. Not even close.
Textures might be off here and there, but the water? You must be wearing jam jar glasses if you think those water effects are bad.
The battle with the sea monster is where it looks the worst. It looks like they're just tossing white pixels in the air and calling it mist. I want to see this in person. I guess it's an amazing video if you've got a PS3.
No, I see your point about the spray, but the fluidity of the waves is fantastic, especially on some of the other videos.
Yeah, I like the shockwave when the ships are hit by the fireball. It starts big and then sort of gets absorbed by the ocean. Question: Are those ships carrying massive amounts of gun powder to produce such a large shockwave? I only remember seeing arrows... :shrug:

It amazes me how every PS console shares that graphics mix of grainy textures and rugged edges, even when every gen is almost completely different (hardware wise) from the last one. In videogame land, everything fucking explodes! even cereal:lol: Like a michael bay film, just that the script doesnt sucks........most of the time...
