I'm very surprised that they left such things as Neo Geo and Sega on some of the cabs as well as the yen mark  Yakumo
"Spiel macht frei"... Saw this a few weeks ago on cavestg. Well all I have to say is that I'm happy not to live there. This country really needs some revolution.
I'd really like to go there someday. I was on a tour that was supposed to include the DMZ between North and South Korea, but due to some administrative glitch out tour group wasn't on the list of approved groups and they wouldn't let us actually go to the line. The next day I left for China so there was no way to go back again. They have tour packages now where you actually enter North Korea for a week but it's pretty expensive. The place just looks so surreal...
Wow~ Surprised that this news is now doing the round. Saw it about a month ago floating around some of Korean forums...
That's pretty terrible, but not surprising in the least, considering the country of origin. With that said, at least they still have arcades. In NYC, other than Chinatown Fair, arcades are long dead, which is sad. I would actually enjoy to walk into a real arcade that had classic games like Shinobi, Final Fight, Double Dragon, etc. so that I could relive my childhood memories.
