    Hey Everyone,

    How does a AMD Geode LX800 stack up to an Intel Atom? Can the geode play back 720p video? Or is that asking too much from the 500mhz processor? (^_^);

    From what I remember reading somewhere the performance of the LX is just below that of a CeleronM at around 8/900MHz.

    They are suited for winterms and embedded applications, not much else.

    AMD fusion is pretty good as it includes a basic radeon card that supports HD.

    Much better than atom + ion

    Don´t expect too much, quite a cool device nonetheless, where to get one? All i find is batteries, LCDs and keyboards... :shrug:

    Ah, someone was offering it locally but I didn't get any reply from him. It would probably be underpowered for what's offered at the same price now-days.
