Since EA is being stingy on giving American the rights to make another game he's gone a different route and looked at securing the movie rights so he can make either a series of shorts or a feature length movie. About 44 hours left on this and currently about $26,500 away from it's goal, gonna be a close one. There's a whole bunch of concept art on the page now and a whole ton of signed art prints and posters to buy, and they've confirmed the DVD tier will have the option of either DVD or BluRay.
It would be nice yes but EA being EA probably aren't going to consent to another game so quickly, it took 10 years for the first sequel! The movie though intrigues me a lot since being a fan from the first game i've followed all the movie dealings in that 10 year period as well, so it's nice to see something finally happening on that end.
