hell everyone i was given an unusual xdk kit its an HDMI kit and it has BLACK LABELS on the back with no mention of it being and elite here are some pics... http://img21.imageshack.us/i/img00249g.jpg/ http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/3247/img00251b.jpg anyone have info in this console??? it has the XNA dash
It's just a label that was swapped from an elite.. the serial number was already registered on xbox.com... devs officially register their dev kits on xds.xbox.com, so it wouldn't have been pre-registered on there, if it was a dev kit's serial #.
It could be any number of things: 1) A refurb unit. 2) A label mistake at the factory. 3) A third party repair and label swap (though that seems unlikely as it looks to be a virgin application). Probably not anything special. -hl718
hmmm hey Chris don't the elite consoles say"Xbox 360 Elite" on the labels tho? i forgot to add something to this kits backround the guy i got it from works at a gamestore some like 25 year old guy brought it into the store and said this does not play any of my games so i want to trade it in the guy behind the counter looked at it and hands it to his friend and the friend offered a retail kit for it so thats what i gave him for it
nope. mine don't has any information about "elite" on it.. it seems the devs swapped the sticker to be sure no one can identify the kit with the serial number or anything else.. better than blurring the serialnumber with black bars etc.
No they aren't. Multiple people distinguished just from pictures shown its been swapped. And gamer looked it up and it was an elite lol. Was swapped.
We have the same console on the gamescom in Cologne: I think it´s a normal Demo Kit with Black Labels, nothing more.
