There probably is no reason. YTou don't always need a reason. Why call the site ASSEMbler in the first place? Because he wanted to and that's why he writes ASSEMbler the way he does, because he wants to. Maybe there is a reason but unless Kev (The owner of ASSEMbler) tells us we'll just never know. Yakumo
It is certainly the reason why every now and then people come in asking about assembly language (not that I don't mind helping them).
Kinda reminds me of back when I was on the alt.digitiser newsgroup (Digitiser was a video game magazine on Channel 4 teletext in the UK) - every now and then some misled n00b would start posting about actual digitisers...
