Interesting, it was just a matter of time before this one got removed as well. I'm going to have to pick it up over the Christmas holidays as I've never got round to buying it yet.

Well, it's Capcom. I think they will re-re-release after some years anyway. (hopefully in a disc)

Good game btw. Those who like it should buy it.

    Probably that's their motive.

I'd agree with you IF it was an actual Capcom IP and not a Licensed Property like MvC Origins.

Yeah, I'm guessing the license expires, and Capcom doesn't want to renew it.

Yes or Disney who owns marvel wants too much money. If they give the rights to akysys (guilty gear and blaz blue) it would be amazing!

No big loss, these games haven't aged well to say the least.

Really hoping Disney either buys or builds a decent game developer. They have way too many great properties to not do that.

Maybe they'll buy Capcom, then we get infinite MvC titles.

Isn't Disney farming out most of development to EA?

I thought most Marvel IPs were being handled in house now.

Kind of sad that Capcom let the license fade away, but not surprising since they're doing a really sh-ty job with games outside of RE, MH, and SF. No Mega Man really? Of course they would give up on the Marvel license. Disney owning Marvel isn't a problem that much, considering Capcom did develop plenty of Disney games in the 1990s.

This ain't the first time they let the license go. And what makes you think it isn't a problem especially when Disney has more to gain from making Marvel games internally thru their studios and publishing arm?

That's just Star Wars, to my knowledge

Problem is since they shut out Activision (I think this summer? when they forced all the games off digital) I can't think of a big Marvel game other than Disney Infinity. Which is just Skylanders with Mickey Mouse.

You really think they're doing a good job at propping up the corpse of Resident Evil? The Marvel license is most likely worth a lot more money now that they have a few movies that were kind of successful...considering Capcom couldn't even make new Dead Rising and Street Fighter games without funding from MS and Sony, they probably didn't give up the license, it just went out of their price range.

Well they are doing an incredibly good job of pumping out mediocre at best RE games that may have been directed by Michael Bay. Does that count?

But wait, the next one is going to be awesome! Seriously! ZOMBIES THIS TIME!!!1!11

The RE1 remake could help matters, though. Depending on how well that sells they might return to that game's format.

Of all the games, does RE1 need another remake? It got one on the GC that was pretty darn pretty.

RE2 and RE3 desperately need a remake, and I'm not too happy with CVX HD (should've done a remake not a remaster).
