To bad, i wish ebay would do a bit more about these kinds of sellers that sell people utter crap. :smt009
That's horrible!! Looking through that seller's feedback, it seems our poor sap is not the only one with a problem. Why doesn't eBay do anything to stop this sort of scam, yet they pull my newly listed Nintendo 64 system within an hour because I advertise it as being modified to play Japanese imports?? :angry
Glad I have bought just about everything I want... I don't have to deal with these fuck tards. Seriously people... one negative feedback on Ebay is NOT the end of the world... tell them to fuck off! I am, however, slightly a victim. I just bought a $17.99 PS2 game.. Shipping from Canada is $10 USD. He said it's registered, but will take 1 to 2 weeks. :angry Did anyone here every buy games from me off of Ebay? (renton6). Man, not to toot my own horn, but I was the shit!! Those powerseller rip-offs ain't got shit on me!
I thought I did, but after looking through the feedback I guess not. I know for a fact that name was on my "look at every time" sellers list. :smt045
Damn, talk about bitter. This auction makes for some funny reading. However it's this guy's own fault. He ignored the #1 rule on Ebay: If it looks too good to be true, then it problably is.
B/c common sense tells you that shipping will be a sensible price. That, and some people have too much faith in the human race.
OT: "import gaming"/eBay "business" fusion: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62054&item=8139507678&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
Are they serious? :smt009 Any dipshit can find a "modification" guide on the internet for free. Doesn't the import modification for the SNES involve cutting out two bits of plastic anyway?
What was this Ebay auction? It's been invalidated. I guess that's good, but I am curious nonetheless.
I'm curious as well. I once saw some asscrack selling brand new Gamecubes for 33.99. He listed what was included etc. and said that it'd make a great present, yada...and at the very bottom, he says, in about size 4 font, that it is for a link. It was a power seller too. I really wanted to report his ass to eBay, but eBay makes it so hard to find where to do it, and then they ignore you, so I didn't. BTW, the guy had a bunch of negs from various buyers who bought other scams of his that turned out to be demos and other crap. :smt067
You know, Ein, it's hard to report bastards like this in MercadoLibre as well. It almost feels as they would really desire asshattery to ensue, does it not? I almost cheered when I read that article about the Powerbook. You know that one, when they scammed a scammer and made justice happen themselves. I fcuking hate these people that try to rip off buyers. It really makes a bad name for the rest of us Internet Commerce Users.
