I've always been in awe of Adol's collection :)

Adol, are you the French guy with a complete Master System / Game Gear collection? I seem to remember a picture where the entire collection was spread out across the front room, and there was a Dreamcast dev unit on the coffee table :)

I do have a complete JPN Game Gear collection as well as complete Mark 3 JPN collection, AND a complete Sega Master System collection (all PAL + US & Brazil exclusives), but i never make a picture of them.

    So we are 2,minimum.

I know collectors who have complete SMS collections, but never heard of complete JPN GG collection in France excepting me ( but it can be done without very much difficulty though).
Maybe you're talking of PAL GG collection?

    Oh,Omar,ok.. :)
He invented SMS emulation (Meka), so he well deserves it!
But i have to precise he got his collection by "donation" (every person happy of his emulator send games),so he got very rare games that way,he never bought them
I even gave/trade him some games back in the time, when he was an informatician student in Paris :)

Considering the hundreds of times I sent him links, email adresses and so on for good deals and the amazing amount of euros he spent because of me, I don't think you can say he built all his collection on donations.

    He changed later then.

I just added pics of my Factory Sealed Atari Lynx collection...i'm missing 10 games so far to end it (Super Off-Road,Desert Strike,Lemmings,Double Dragon,Ninja Gaiden,Hard Drivin,European Soccer Challenge,Joust,Battlezone 2000,Krazy Ace Miniature Golf)..after that it'd only be homebrews!

    Check it out!

very impressive, but can i ask what drives you to collect every game for one system?

how many of them have you actually played?

at my peak i had +1000 games for a bunch of systems and i felt absoluteley smothered, i never played anything because nomatter what i picked up i felt pressured by all the other games waiting to get played.
went so far as i had to sell off alot of it and i took a 1year break from everything videogame related.
(not just because of the games, this also went hand-in-hand with alot of other personal issues)

still to this day i cant see two RPGs next to eachother without getting absoluteley exhausted :katamari:

Because, in my opinion, the higher objective possible about collecting games for a system is to get them all!

Complete with box&instructions of course, and now the "factory sealed" madness took me partially (mainly because if i decide to sell one day, it won't be devaluated like used games could be) ;-)

Some other people care about prototypes, homebrews and developing tools, i don't care that much about those.

Do you still play games? Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those jealous guys who blame hardcore collectors for not playing as much as they do, I'd just like to know because you collect so much sealed stuff.
Or do you have opened duplicates of the games you want to play?

PS: What about a complete Saturn collection? A (except the early SC-1000-SG-3000) complete jpn SEGA game collection...wow :love2:

Well yes,i hvae duplicates of games i want to play, but i only have SOME factory sealed collections, the most i play (PCE,SFC,MD) are not!

I play a lot yes, old games like SFC/MD/PCE ones or most recent ones
(I finished 100% Castlevania Portrait of Ruin recently,i remember finishing God Hand,etc..)..even though i don't have as much time as i hoped for playing.

About Saturn: As Yakumo asked me too,i "only" have like 450 saturn games, (full collection is around 1200) and i don't plan AT ALL to collect them.

Ps:You're missing Pico games though :)

I just added pictures of my Famicom Collection..i didn't put any hardware stuff, and i forgot some games (Famicom Jump 1&2, Yoshi Cookie, Hoshi no Kirby, Gambare Goemon Gaiden 1&2, Top Rider special box with "balloon motorbike",etc..),but that's most of it!

I'll make pictures of Famicom Disk System once i'll finish my complete collection, with matching boxes and write only games!

    Enjoy!

Just read the post,i told i'm finishing it!
My FDS collection is near complete, but it's very hard to get all games complete in box with matching barcodes, PLUS write only games (Clu Clu Land is 100000 yens alone)..i need 10 games or so ( there are approx. 200 FDS games)

And those pictures are pics my collection, i never said i own them all..i know you're used with me, but this is not my 21st complete collection :)

There are around 1230 FC games, so i'll probably never have them all, unless you give me the money for it! :)
