This could be true. That picture was posted on Feb 24th. You'll notice that it uses the same controller port and memory card as the Gamecube. At this weeks Game Developers Conference Satoru Iwata announced that the Revolution will be backwards compatible. This of course could be just a coincidence but the timing gives it a good possibility that it isn't. This also leads me to believe more and more that Nintendo's next generation handheld will be a portable Gamecube.

because..you wouldnt want to haul around some huge ass boom box 80's style when you pay for an ipod. Small things show how awesome technology is. The PStwo is an inch thick...

Think how much more expensive it would be, too, if it had that small crap, and a lotta other crap put in. I dont want a "Hugh Jass" system, dammit! Just keep it small, and its not like the new Nintendo System will have speakers or anything on it.
Apparently it was a mock up made by an IGN boardmember when the name of the console was leaked last year. Chances are it won't be that small also. Judging from the lenth of the CD I'd say this mockup is about six or seven inces across.
yeah sometimes being too smal makes people think its worse or something. People are generally dumb I guess, which is why Xbox 360 is even a rumored name since I guess MS believes people that hear xbox 2 will somehow think it's worse than the ps3...
umm why are you all thinking these "leaks" could be the true final release of consoles... one they all look mostly crap or we know they wouldnt happen (e.g. that weird xbox one we all like) and two how many mock ups are made .... think of the ones we saw of the dreamcast!
