I bought a widescreen CRT not long ago, while I was moving it I accidentaly hit the right side of the screen, it got scratched. Thankfully, the glass protecting the tube got scratched and not the tube itself, but unfortunatelly, the glass has an Anti-Reflex coating. What should I do with it?

My first idea was to buff and polish it, but since it has that AR/AG coating I would have to remove it. If I decide to do that, Is it possible to have it applied again?

    Thanks.

I had a tv like that. It's best to get a glass buffing cloth and do your best, you won't be able to fix the coating it will look horribly blotchy and shiny in an irregular manner.

You should be able to use a special microfiber cloth for glass to smooth it out.
