Any collectors interested in assorted VG memorbillia?

Discussion in 'The ASSEMblergames Marketplace' started by blindguardian, Mar 7, 2006.

  1. I've got a few things like trinkets from E3 and a few game packins.

    For example:

Sealed in plastic bag Dog tags that say Metal Gear Solid given out by Konami at E3.

Map packin from Ultima Online in very fine condition.

Old PC game "Zeliard" by Sierra/Gamearts

Let me know if there is interest and I'll post up some pics, etc.

Yes, I would like to know what you would like for the dog tags

  4. Let me post up some pics later tonight, when I get home from work. Since there is more then one interested party you can bid on it starting at 99 cents($0.99usd), shipping is $5.00 for USPS Priority mail with tracking, within the USA. Shipping overseas is rather expensive and most start $15.00+ for the ones that are less then a week and include tracking. I prefer not to ship anywhere without package tracking, so international is going to be costly.

These Dog Tags were picked up at the 1998 E3 I believe, I was there both years it was in Atlanta.

I also have for sale factory sealed USA-NTSC Brave Fencer Musashi(Includes the FF7 Demo Disc) for PS1, asking $60.00 or best offer.

Thanks for everyone's time and interest.

Well then go post it on ebay for the tags, or get a price and post them.

  6. You don't have to be rude sir/madam, and tell me to go to ebay. Someone other then you in this thread was interested and the rules don't forbid an auction, what they do forbid is asking for offers. What do I want? I want a million dollars, but that's besides the point. What do you want to pay? send me a PM then if you have something in mind. I surely don't want 0.99 cents, but if thats all it's worth then fine, bid your 0.99 cents and it's yours. If someone else thinks it's worth more to them, that's fine too. How do you put a market value on collectable items, everyone here who collects rare items knows that it maybe worth a certain price to a collector but to everyone else it's useless, like a beta game for a non existant system or what not. Nothing personal, just business.

I wasent trying to be rude at all, the selling rules are no bidding with in forums, im sorry if you took it the wrong way, I was trying to advise you before a forum mod tells you.

Dunno... rules seem pretty clear cut to me:

All means all, as far as i can tell... Auctions kind of suck on a message board, ebay is a better place for that kind of sale.

This is an excerpt from the forum rules.

    Auctions guidelines:

All auctions must have a set closing date.
All auctions must disclose location of the item.
All items must have a picture of the item with your forum name on
a piece of paper in front of it.
If a seller or buyer backs out of an auction after close,
    posting penalties will apply.
Keep your thread and the users watching it up to date.
If you have a lot of posts asking you for updates on prices, the top bidders,
or if the auction is over yet, you're doing something wrong.
A daily auction update is expected.
    Bidders can ask for references.
Please be aware that shipping can be considerable if the item is not in your
    home country. Bid accordingly.

I appreciate the good intentions of letting me know whats not allowed but I think the rules state otherwise, granted.. I have not started an auction adhereing completely I was just gauging interest and saying what I would probably start at.

anyway, forget the auction.. I've searched e-bay and the closest ended auction I've found was for 16.95 for similar dog tags and a button. I'll sell the Dog Tag for $10.00 plus shipping, that should be reasonable. Or I could take it to E-Bay, eitherway up to you all.
