I would love to see some crazy video from masters of arcade games (mostly shoot-'hem-ups), and i thought it would be a good idea to share some of those. sadly enough, i can't find any on my p2p program neither on google, so someone else will have to begin . Is there any good website for this? would love to see some gradius video here, by exemple. let's begin! .....didn't i said i passed my turn? :smt043 cahaz.
Yes... I'm trying to rip my Ketsui super replay right now as we speak, but can't get the audio to work. Anyone know WTF is up w/ that? I rip ALL the VOBs from the DVD, but can't remember how to extract the audio. I also got Dengeki PS2 that came with some save data's. One imparticular is stage 4, 5-1, and 5-2 from the arrange mode of ESPGaluda. For those that don't know, it's got an insane amount of bullets (even on stage 1) and is quite a trip to watch. Oddly enough, the guy in the replay doesn't even try the last boss. Anyways, my capture card is acting up, so once I get that fixed, I'll capture that as well.
:smt023great, i can't wait! it will make me discover some shooters i never heard of at the same time.
has anyone ripped that clip from the limted editing of street fighter 2 hyper fighting where a guy beats final fight without lossing a life.
Okay, here's Stage 3 of Ketsui. Mind you, this is the first "hard" starge of the game, although I'm sure some poeple would shit their pants on stage 1. You get a cube (ranked 1-5) when you shoot a bad guy w/ your rapid fire. The rank depends on how close you are. REal close = 5. You then have a few seconds to lock on and wipe out as many as you can. If you chain them (counter in the top left corner) you'll get a 5 for each bad guy you kill after that, and the counter will renew (it's still really fast). Notice how when the player is taking on a massive plane or battle ship, he lives some little guys behind. He then goes back, gets real close to the little guy to get the 5-cube, then puts the finishing touches on the big one (for massive 5-cubes). Also notice how much time he spends at the top of the screen. THis is b/c you DIE if you don't. It's unreal. You have to be very agressive in this game. A couple of things to note. -The blue graphics come out REALLY bad...you've been warned -Only sound out of left channel (not sure why yet) -The link won't last forever... download while you can. -This clip is dedicated to everyone that helped me get up to date on ripping this shit.
Mental... Is the tetris one real time? I don't see how it could be, but there'd be no point posting it if it wasn't...
Well I tried, but it didn't obviously seem to gel... it's also quite difficult to watch his hands while watching what he's doing
Anyone got the video where somebody plays Ikaruga with 2 players at the same time, and is very good at it, too?
I think you can find that at www.ikaruga.co.uk but I've never looked. IMHO Cave super replays are more impressive.
Did anyone watch the Ketsui clip? Should I bother with more? The last levels of this reallly make those Mario 64 vids look like childs play.
http://www.scoobypics.com/sf-net/film/Super mario piano.mpg it's not exactly a video game, but it goes for me
Check out this thread at shmups. One of thes users has a BT tracker, where poeple are seeding shmup super replays.
Gaijin - Just to let you know I enjoyed the Ketsui clip - the firpower on screen vs that boss was just insane. Don;t suppose this game has a decent console port even if jap only?
Unfortunately, it doesn't. It's not emulated either, so the $300+ PCB (or an arcade with it) is the only way to play it. I own the PCB, and the game is just hard as nails. I can get to level 4 on 1 credit, and that's it, and that's not playing for score. Anyways, the entire first loop (stage 1-5) is available on that tracker in my post above. Watch it. Stages 4 thru 5 are pure insanity compared to level 3. The 2nd loop (which is stages 1-5 AGAIN with a stupid amount of bullets) is nothing but mesmerizing.
Ok, why can't I see anything? When it starts to download I get a message stating something I need to watch is not available from Quicktime. Any ideas?
1: Delete quicktime from your system. 2: Download the DiVX codec from www.divx.com 3: Play the video in Windows Media PLayer. Seriously -- quicktime sucks.
