I'm going to be back over my original side of the big pond for a wee while soon & was wondering what the best places to go hunting for used/interesting stuff are these days?

Also any suggestions on any PAL region specific PS1/2/3, xbox/360, GC/Wii games that might be worth looking out for would be welcome, too. I plan to get myself some Euro Wii points while I'm there, but I've been trying to think of other stuff I ought to hunt down.

    Short answer - no.

CeX has gone crap but I guess you might find something there. Aaand that's pretty much it. Modern games, and a few recently 'dead' platforms can be found in any branch of Game or Gamestation e.g. Oxford Street (close to CeX).

There are a few Gamestations in Kent that have some retro stuff if you wanna travel, but again they've pretty much cleared all that out now. Your best bet is a true indie store, which are few and far between now. Oh, there's that Chips company, if they're still going. They were allegedly indie - if you call owning 100 stores indie! Dunno what they sell now, though.
