Any good old school gif archive site?

    i would like to find some .gif of 8 bit and 16 bit games, any good web sites?

    now i would love a 8-bit gif site, googled this...but didn't find any good sites.

    any gif sites are welcome, 16-bit or 8-bit, but more especially 8-bit. :-D

    search for the name MUGEN :-D

    there are both french and english and other sites with info and the likes and forums.

    Wow, MUGEN is still around? I had a friend who was insanely into it in like 1997. You'd need much more than animated gifs to pull off a game with that. It's pretty hard to build a game with MUGEN.

    Are some forums dedicated to pixel art - there's some great artwork posted there sometimes. Check out http://www.vgnz.com/sam for some of my goes at pixelling - just please ask if you want to use some of my images as some of them are for projects I'm working on.

    GS archive is the difinative site for sprites from actual games though.

    i was searching for video game animations, but i'll certainly take a deeper look at these, they are pretty interesting. thx! :)
