Hey any assemblers around the area? I touched down here, Fayetteville AR, on Saturday and will be staying for about 3.5 months on a startup business accelerator program, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any places to go hunt for games? :nightmare:

    Cheers and thanks in advance!

I live about an hour south of Fayetteville and I've been there many times. There are two local places that I know of and they are Tradewind and Vintage Stock. Tradewind is strictly video games, and they even have what they call "Gaming Bunkers" where they host tournaments and stuff. Vintage Stock sells all kinds of stuff (movies, games, etc), but it's still worth checking out. There are multiple big name stores too (Game Stop, Game X Change, etc) but in my experience those places are best avoided. I haven't been video game hunting in Fayetteville in a while though, so there may be some more stores that I don't know about.

As an aside, Fayetteville (and Northwest Arkansas in general) has a lot to offer. You'll definitely want to check out Crystal Bridges, which is an Art and Nature gallery just to the north in Bentonville. Also, if you want to really take in the local scene you'll need to go to a Hogs football game if your still in town when the college football season starts. That would be a blast. One more thing, Devil's Den state park is just to the south and there are some great walking trails and cave systems to explore there (plus great mountain biking trails if you can find a way to rent/borrow a mountain bike). There's definitely a lot more, but that's just some stuff I can think of off the top of my head. Hope you have fun during your stay in Arkansas, and good luck with your game hunting :encouragement:

Hey man thanks for the tips! I'll be sure to check those places out then :)

Actually I had a hike today to Devil's Den but had to stay at home cause I was feeling a bit under the weather :(

I'll try to go to Tradewind and Vintage Stock soon!
