Hey there folks, has anyone here used cheapdigitalguide.com before? http://cheapdigitalguide.com/home.php Looks like one of those overstock type sites. The prices look a bit too good to be true, however I can't find any reviews of the site anywhere.
Hmmm looks too good to be true. I've had a look on the site and can't find any address for where they're based (usually listed in Terms and Conditions). Also "Cybersource Protected Buy" no longer exists; see http://www.cybersource.com/protectedbuy.html (the site features a picture at the bottom of the page indicating it's protected). Also with BBBOnline it has no listing of cheapdigitalguide.com so on that I'd say it's fake. DNS reports show this guy as the owner (also note the site was created only on the 18th September this year), so I suppose you could ring up or something and check it out. EDIT: More info added
Looks like the stuff on the site are refurbs, returns, and the like (Which honestly I'm cool with as long as it works.) However there's a no-refund, "as is" disclaimer, which leads me to think the rip-off potential might be a bit high. I like the ability to return stuff if it doesn't work.
If you need to ask, just don't bother. That's how i go about it. I found a few sites that sell PSX games, N64 games, etc. all of them just the media, such as cartridges, cds, etc. It just seemed too good to be true.
After looking further, this size is a scam 100%. In the T&C it lists the number "(800) 507-0569" for Customer Service, which is a proven fake number. http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135264 See that thread for a previous scam site with seemingly the same layout/idea etc.
