I was wondering if anyone has the best site for info on the SFC cd system worked on by sony (ex. pics, articles and mock ups) and another question: Are there any proto Neo Geo hardware theyve released a few systems so you'd think there were protos but Ive never seen even ONE! any info there would be appreciated. I will bow to your vast knowledge! rayer:
You should instead bow to the toilet monster: rayer: :toimonster: Seriously tho, I posted a SNES CD ("Nintendo Playstation") picture in the beta pics thread, that might help you out. I'm aware of a few images floating in cyberspace, but none of them were much more than small grainy magazine scans or whatnot. But I'll keep an eye out for them for you. As for Neo Geo hardware, I couldn't tell you. But Neo Geo stuff is so expensive, you'd probably have to pay to get pictures of prototypes. :smt043
The sad part of being a Neo fan is that I'd expect to. :Hangman: btw GSL: that's one cool SFC CD pic!!! I'd only seen the artists rendering with it under the SFC like the satellaview.
I take it then that you're one of the lucky few with a Neo console of some sort? Tell me, where do you live? And how is your house/neighborhood for security? :smt027 As far as SNES CD stuff, here was that other site I was thinking of - some nifty pics, except for the small and grainy part. This guy has a fairly neat website (including a section dedicated exclusively to copiers!) so it's worth a look-through. http://www.robwebb.clara.co.uk/snesprotos.html
Here's a page from an old EGM that has some specs: http://hawanja.com/snes_cd.htm (must be the "gainy magazine scans" Grtstlouis was talking about)
. years ago my local video shop used to have NeoGeo for rental. When the shop closed down I knew the owner and he wanted to get rid of NeoGeo kit but I hadn't had money to buy it. I know it wasn't that popular back then and the kit was hardly rented out. Every time I visit the shop for video renting the box was always sitting on top shelf gathering dust... for some reason I wasn't into video game back then - too busy building/scratch building plastic models and diorama and what not... or breaking copy protection scheme on 8 bit personal computers. cheers
