Hello everyone! Newbie here looking to get some answers about this playstation with a build in LCD that has a built in VCD button on the screen... Does anyone know anything about this? No markings on it whatsoever. I attached a few pics... Thanks for any help!

Cant make out from the blurry pictures if its just a psone with a LCD attachment, or if its one of the few generic cloned psone systems that got released close to the end of the psones lifetime.

Looks quite cheap like the Dreamcast clone with built in screen, the Treamcast.

Looks just like the Treamcast. Real PSOne guts with a cheap generic LCD in a custom casing.

Why is it when people find these odd devices, they always never know how to focus a camera? Ugh.

Because they're usually trying to use a cell phone camera without a macro function.

Every cell phone for the past few years I have seen, have macro capabilities. The OP used a Droid 4 (according to the EXIF data, which I'm sure......has macro capabilities). Either way though, if they can score these prototypes, they should be able to score a decent camera (and I think the OP has one decent enough.

Sorry for the rant, it's like eBay auctions with out of focus pictures. I can't stand it anymore.

I know exactly what this device is.

This is 3rd party, by the same company that made the Treamcast. All markings are removed as it was re marketed as Tream-Station. They had Japanese model Playstation One guts.

    Worth around $130.

    That's it, that's all I know about Playstation :p

I had read somewhere that the Treamcast screens were actually pulled out of LCD screens for the PSOne, but the picture on mine seemed way too terrible to be anything official.

Wow, Hex1gon and Piratebox hit this right on the head! I didn't realize that is what it was, but the proof is in the pic! And I do apologize for the crappy pics... Didn't think they were gonna show up so friggin huge and distorted. Any yes, it is a droid 4 that I took these with, and no, I have no idea what a macro function is. Will do some diggin and find out / learn it. Makes me sick too after seeing what the hell I posted... Thanks again everyone for your expertise!!!

Macro is for taking close up photos.

You use it to get clear images since the focal point differs when you're inches from something.
