Any known issues with Mega Everdrive, 32x and switchless mod consoles?

Hi, I'm investigating a problem for a customer/client. He had his Megadrive, MegaCD and 32x switchless modded by another company, now he's asking us to do a non-switched mod as he is convinced that the switchless mod causes glitches with his Mega Everdrive and 32x games. Specifically, he says that when he resets his console while playing a 32x game from the Mega Everdrive, the unit goes to a black screen instead of the Mega Everdrive menu, preventing him from saving his progress.

This seems strange to me and I wanted to know if anyone else had ever seen any behaviour like this? The 32x works fine when paired with another console without the switchless mod.

 

You're probably best off asking on Krikzz's forum - he no longer supports EverDrive through our forums.

 

i never had a probleam with my ever drive 2.1 on my swithcless consoles.

 

We're talking specifically the Mega Everdrive and the 32x here though.

 

I usually test 32x with mega everdrive and switchless modded md's as I don't own original 32x games, never had a problem.
