I've been watching Gundam Since I was very young and I absolutely love all things Gundam(Minus SeeD and 00) I just Finished Watching Turn A Gundam For the first time after waiting so many years to get an opportunity and was amazing to say the least.ray: So Any Fans? And Discuss anything Gundam Here. If a thread already exists I apologize :O >.> Also A question to anyone who has played a lot of Super Robot Taisen, any of them have a Turn A Storyline in them?
I've only watched 00 and I loved it, since then I've been wanting to watch the other series but I just haven't had the time to do it.
I am too but I don't like much of the recent stuff. Seems like very low budget animation studio stuff. I am also pretty angry that they never released Mobile Suit Gundam: MS Sensen 0079 in the USA. Why did they not bring it to the USA?
Gundam Fan reporting here, sir. Hell, I even got and played the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games and loved it! Oh, and I collect the few models I can get in my third world country.
AHHHH It does look great! The newer UC stuff is a lot better than things like SeeD and Apparently they are making a new series set in 0081. Which Sounds pretty sweet I remember as a kid I had a bunch of the 1/144 and a few bigger models but my older brother broke them all when he had his own "Action Figures" of Gundams. I still feel sad to this day haha.. I really want to get into Gunpla though someday. Painting and everything
Stardust Memory forever!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXLW5YTzLEU I have much autographed gundam items. Autographed VINYL
! I've seen Vinyl 0083 soundtracks/singles on auction sites. I've always wanted one xp Stardust Memory was a great OVA with some awesome Music. The winner is still one of my favorite songs ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2n3-gkNUV1U Turn A's Second Ending theme is quite powerful as well. That's the first wii G game isn't it? I wondered that myself. It looked really good.
Stardust Memory FTW!! I begged my grandma for that when I was younger!! One of my favorites!!! Also, searching through youtube, I found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-B7Yiaj6mg Andrew W.K. covering Gundam songs!! =D SOOOO COOL!
>.> I saw that some time ago. For some reason something about it just bugged me haha. Maybe it's the stupid freaking Space Tom Drums He plays on the keyboard that are annoying as hell
Kind of an old schooler. I liked 0083 & 0080... only watched a couple others. It got too kiddy at one point which turned me off.
The series needs an overhaul. If you've seen one Gundam then you've seen all of them. It's almost always the same story with a slight variation. 08th is the last time they tried something different.
Always wanted too get into Gundam, because I love everything with giant robots in it..well, giant robot suits in this case, but there are about a million series and I have no idea which of them are worth watching. I got Dynasty Warriors Gundam too, because it was cheap...it's crap, but it's still probably one of the best Gundam games ever. Go figure.
DWG from what I played was kind of shallow , the second one I hear was better. But some of the best gundam games I've played are the Battle series for the PSP and the SNES generation games. The G Generation games are supposed to be good no?
Not really a big fan of the animes but I'm a big fan of the games (mostly the capcom arcade game that spawn the VS series & the Gundam Battle series on PSP). Anybody who has a PSP Must own Gundam Battle Universe (and/or the most recent Vs game).
I did actually force myself to watch most of the Gundam series and my favourite one is the original 0079, probably followed by 0080 and 0083. Wing and Seed are basically 0079 retold poorly, I did quite like Turn-A as it was nice change of scenery even with the weird ending.
I have GBU. Universe is such a great game, I played the crap out of it. But then my save got corrupted and I lost my will to play Xo The ending made me cry pretty much :< I hadn't felt that connected and cared for characters like that in quite a while. It was sad that it was over and Sochie having to let Loran go like that was heartbreaking.
