I got a DS yesterday and I love it. I started thinking about putting a switch in to control the lower screen's backlight since it's not really needed in some games during the actual gameplay. It would be a great way to save more power depending on the lighting source in the DS. Anyone know what Nintendo uses to backlight the screens?
Theres apparently a way to regulate it with a dial behind the sticker on the back. But i'd be careful, screens have been blown out messing with it a bunch.
How long before some smart alec makes the top screen touch activated as well. But then who would make games with both screens using this facility. But could you imagine :smt043
