Any Way of Modding an NTSC-U Genesis 1 to Run SLOW Audio Like a PAL MD 1 ?

    Another quick question: If I am going to run the PAL MD 1 on a VGA LCD monitor using the RGB from the console and the scaler+sync stripper I got, and wanted to also run the MD overclocked to gain the so called "smoother video render", would I end up speeding up the playback pace?
    I know that overclocking a genesis would not necessarily effect the game speed, just reduce or eliminate some of the lag in some graphics and animation effects (eg: Sonic loosing a lot of rings at once animation lag). So, do you think there is a chance I might actually end up speeding up the whole gameplay with overclocking?

    Most monitors will sync to 50 Hz vertically, so it's not that scalers/upscanners "support" it, they're rather just 625 line tolerant. Actual format conversion is complicated and lossy and probably isn't included in any non-broadcast equipment.
