http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=9188 Pretty funky! Went to go look for a Quake port and found this, I had no idea it was turned into an arcade game like HL2.
You know, I read the whole thing AFTER I posted. Still weird. Looks like at least two people own one though.
Actually only one owns the whole thing as it was meant to be according to the link. Still nice. I think Quake 3 should have had some sort of Arcade cab, that game still rules
http://www.vaps.org/members/game_detail.php?klov_id=9188 Thats what I saw at least. I like the pic with the keyboard under the controls, lol. I also just installed Quake 3! What about HL2 arcade? That was Japan only, right? Anyone play it?
I've not played Half Life 2 arcade but have seen it. Taito at least made an effort to make it look special unlike that Quake Cab. That looks like some generic stand up thing. Yakumo
I had one in the arcade by me. It was there for two weeks. It was one of the best FPS experiences I ever had, especially as it was networked for VS play. I was a god at quake back then, so playing on the arcade machine was a blast. I read they made something like 15 units only.. damn shame, it was so far ahead of it's time. The cabinet graphics were so dark and morbid, it was a spectacular machine.
So the pic they have up isn't an original cab? Since it's Quake I imagined a badass cabinet, the pic on the site is just a regular boring white one. The art style for Quake was always awesome to me. Didn't seem like Quake 4 kept it.
