looks really cool. apparently Otoshidama is the term given to monetary gifts given to children during the (japanese?) new year. so maybe it was a saturn released around new year's over there?
legit? i doesnt look real thoug it does look as though it might be legit i would be careful on buying it
That's nice. Cars are almost free at dealer auctions but I still wouldn't say you're buying a metal box. That's simply a matter of proximity. hit-japan is clearly selling to an American audience who tends to pay $80 and up for a Japanese Saturn. ~Krelian
how hard to scan the whole cardboard and re-produce.. O_O now pack them with cheap/free Saturn console and voila!
I emailed the seller about ti a few days back..he says its a new years saturn of some sort. Looks legit and I have it before.
Hmm feel free to prove me wrong but hit-japan is a reliable seller. Also, the Saturn is a campaign edition. Possible came with this video tape (HANDS OFF! I'm bidding )
rerember you are getting apparently rare cardboard packaging and Saturn is just freebie thrown in to sweeten the deal... ? I did deal with the seller before and yes it's one of reliable eG@y sellers...
you know its funny, but i see half these saturns on ebay that are suppose to contain a packaged freebie (such as the 100 one that suppose to come with vf remix) or the chistmass nights one that doesnt contain chistmass nights. Then again there are other oddities. Game cubes in japan orignaly didnt include an av cable, the derby staloon saturn doesnt even come with the game, and the mega cd 2 didnt even come with a power adaptor (this was confirmed when ncsx for a short time sold brand new ones they got from left over stock at a where house in japan, which i regret not snagging).
Only a small parcel of collectors have access to yahoo japan auctions without middlemans or items from japan directly so saturns can't be called as free stuff, and can´t forget about high shipping costs of stuff from japan :banghead:
