    As the title:

    Anybody watching the England game?

Who do you fancy for the world cup?

I think I might have a flutter on England and Spain for the win (bit biased by being English with a Spanish misses) and Rooney for the golden boot. Anybody here care or have an opinion?

Me too. Because i'm Scottish and our team are shit.

The only enjoyment from watching Scotland play is laughing at how shit they are while counting how many times the commentators use the work 'brave'.

    FREEDOM!!!

I thought that as long as the Scots beat the English every couple of years they were happy.

    No offense meant.

We'd be happy if we could beat England once a decade.

I seriously can't remember the last time Scotland had a win against England.
    Probably before I was born...

Im from Singapore and everyone here watch the BPL more than our own league. And our adopted National Team is England. :)

And also we support Teams like Manchester United,Liverpool more than our own National Team.lol.

Spain for sure as of now.
I've loose faith in the French team since the coach, Domenech went completely out of his mind : random choices, crappy communication, lousy qualification for world cup (sorry ireland)

When France lose the last european cup without kicking a single goal, Domenech was in front of the cameras and he asked his girlfriend for marriage !! right after the defeat, it was the only thing he had to say to the country. I was speechless.
The worst about it is that the team could make something with Nasri, Anelka, Benzema. But France's game is kind of boring.

I like premier league, hope the brits will make something, this time, for a change haha

Not a premier league expert and i don't know if the english team is now consolidated for world cup.
I hope for the actual good players, Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Terry, Crouch (missing some others)...
Could be a blast to watch them play though i think they are not favorites.

I honestly don't think Beckham would have made the first team line up but I am gutted that he isn't going to be included in the squad!

I think I say this everytime the world cup comes around but I really feel this is our best chance to win it for years. We have a strong squad and alot of our players are very much on form. In the back of my head though I just know we will under perform as usual and I will be majorly gutted.

Capello said from the start that he would be playing form players rather than big names so I was surprised that Hart didn't start against Egypt. I would like to see him involved at the world cup as I think his performances this season deserve it.

I am optimistic for the world cup but also realistic :)
