    I've been to Super Potato. Prices are not the best, but not the worst either. They've got a good selection of games and hardware, however, and enough "coool" stuff to make you happy. In there, I found a Super UFO SFC copier in their "junk" box for about 2000 yen, which made my day.

    I've been to Super Potato too (Love that name :D) THey are a bit expensive but do have some nice items. Also Trader 2 is worth checking out. You can find it in the back streets behind Club Sega.

    Mak-jp is a good store for PCBs. Great service. They also do mailorder. G-Front is a fucking ripoff. Their prices are ridiculous, so I wouldn't even bother going. Super Potatoe is a pretty cool experience.

    I've been to Super Potato (make sure to check out the 700,000 yen FC game), very cheap Saturn memory cards, PC Engines, etc to be had, really a nice place if you enjoy the Thrill of the Hunt. Mak-Japan was great too, and with regard to G-Front, I couldn't find it :-( (i heard rumours of them selling RSG on ST-V for only 7000 yen)

    Problem I have when hunting around is that I am not really after anything specific.....so I go mad on occasions with impulse buys!

    It's worth going to Try, Mak and G-Front (how can you not find it, its very near to Suehirocho station and has G-Front in the windows and a large G-Front sign in front of the shop). and comparing prices of boards and the like as they can vary by thousands of yen between stores....

    G-Front is good as it has lots of other merchandise in terms of Posters and Standees that you can buy, the shop is also huge compared to Mak and Try (you could fit them both in twice...) also check out G-Fronts nice collection of hentai games in the corner...

    Try closes on Wednesday so don't go then... ^_^;

    Most PCB shops have their pricelist online. Just check them first before going in. I've never seen a single thing cheaper at G-Front than the other guys. It's usually 10-20% more expensive. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

    There's a few mail-order only places in Tokyo that have competitive prices as well. One inparticular only takes orders by phone, so your nihongo better be up to par.

    I'm not, and I love drama. Tell me. ;)

    He's been banned from ntsc uk forums because he still owes people money for psp's that he didnt deliver, then did a dissappearing act.

    so be careful if he ever sells anything

    Ah nothing like rumour to get in the way of truth.... (not that the moderators like following there own rules on off topic stuff....)

    Some of the people canceled their orders for the PSPs before I was meant to deliver and I told them as I am not in the UK, sending a refund quickly would be difficult. The disappearing act was more to do with being in hospital for a period of time and having other difficulties but I am currently in agreement with every party in when I will refund the money (which will be in may when I am back in the UK.). The people that did get their PSPs fail to mention that I sold them the items at cost (even before the delay...).

    NTSC-UK didn't help by refusing me access to my PMs when I could get online, so that meant it took even longer to contact people, they had my email address and they could have given this to the various people and they didn't.

    Ah well it will get all sorted and everything will be okay again.

    On another note, I do plan to liquidate about 50% of my collection (been sitting in a friends spare room for a tad too long...) as I am not planning to be in the UK for at least 2 years now. Although I will be selling it via a friend who is based in the UK... ^_^;

    Your just said you were gonna be here in may...

    Yeah also taking money from people is always super fast but when it comes to refunds
    all these problems arise... funny isnt it.

    Yes I will be in may for about a week to sort various affairs out, then that is it can't see myself back in the UK anytime after that.

    Paying money into a bank is quick and easy, taking said money out of the bank when they have cancelled your card. you don't have a cheque book and you are not in the same country as the bank is normally harder to do.

    Is Akihabara the best place in Japan to go for games?
