I came across this Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec Demo in late 2000/early 2001 and I have never seen any info on it. Does anyone here have this demo as well or any information regarding it? I'm just curious as I have never seen it pop up. Thanks a lot.
Well, from the pics on the sleeve, the graphics seems to be the same as the the final version. So it's already running on the GT3 engine itself .(different from GT2000, that was running on a modified GT2 engine). Just tried the disk again for the 1st time in almost 7 years. It is copyright 2000. You can drive the Raybrig NSX, Mustang Cobra R, and Honda S2000 on Trial Mountain to "Kick Start My Heart" by Motley Crue. Interesting info Johnny, I did not know that.
I'm guessing by your description and the looking at the disc this was the official demo that was used for ps2 kiosks right before the game was released. I remember playing it as well.
