Anyone else love the funny Oliver Jewellery or Cashman Vids (got sued by DC Comics)

Being from Toronto these videos are legendary. I worked for a while and came up with a collection of not just his commercials, but also parodies, news segments and imitators.

Oliver Jewelers or Oliver Jewelery is run by Russell Oliver out of a store in Toronto. The commercials are famous in Canada and in Toronto, well your not Torontonian if you haven't seen these. He is crazy and he wants your freaking gold and silver and jewelery and he "will give you cash".

Famously he got sued by DC Comics because his "Cashman" character was "damaging" to the Superman Franchise.

In one of Russell's ads, he shrieks, "Even teeth!" He offers to enter your family mausoleum or dig up your grandfather and pull dead peoples' fillings out with pliers.

That guy is such a crook. I'm told he has a really nasty attitude and always says the stuff you bring him is fake/junk/worthless. Crazy stuff like "Your diamonds are too old. No one will buy them". I mean, arn't diamonds already billions of years old already?

Anyway, it could just be pawn shop tactics, and not a real personality, but in real life i'm told its nothing like the commercials
