Seriously, I haven't been able to play single player games for awhile. I just don't have the patience or something. Only when a game really captivates me will be able to. and the last to do that I think was Viva Pianta believe it or not. Or maybe there hasn't been any exciting games that excite me completely. Also I'm in biochem so its not like I have a ton of free time. Anyone else in my situation? Maybe I just need to wait for my break (June) then I'll have some time to put in./
You must see me when you look into the bizarro world. As time goes on, I can only play single player games, usually of the arcade flavor.
I'm with you. I haven't played through a single player game in a while. I've just been playing fighting games lately. And I refuse to play the cpu in those.
Some games lately are just not meant for single, which sucks. I can do either but I still like single more.
Timing the trick is to hide and charge up your arrows then wait for him charge up a sword attack an unleash then hide, heal up and repeat. The hardest boss for me was the 2nd go around with the lord of fire....took me for fucking ever.
I'd rather play on my own. Playing a Co^Op game with someone normally annoys the hell out of me because they never know what's going on. I do enjoy playing VS 2 player games though but probably more so in the arcade than at home. Yakumo
I 1cc'd Axelay some while ago. I mostly play alone, almost forced to do. but playing the old things only.
I'm with GP and Yakumo. The genres I enjoy (RPG and action/adventure) just don't gain anything from multiple players. My experiences with online play are uniformly unfulfilling when they're with people I only know from the networked gaming services (as opposed to with people I know in real life) and even with MMOs, I spent most of my time playing on my own. Network multiplayer still feels like a passing fad to me.
I don't generally play many new single player games. However I certainly play alot of single player older games. But I think it says something about the single player in alot of newer games. It says it sucks ass. It's a shame too. Nothing wrong with single player.
I've found getting together with people and swapping out playing single player and co-op games have gotten me far lately. For example me and a couple people got through Uncharted not to long ago and we've played a lot of Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2.
I tend to only play single players or co-ops. Mostly because I have someone who's about the same skill level as me so it's far from annoying.
I'm trying to get through the original splinter cell on the PC in single player and full spectrum warior on the xbox but most of my spare time is actually spent playing a good few games of battfield heroes. The last single player game i completed was Hotel Dusk on the DS but only becuase i could play that anywhere and before that it would have been fahrenheit on the xbox a few years back and only because i got it with a 2nd xbox i purchased.
